A few words about us
WERNYHORA is a Polish folk trio from Sanok, winners of the first prizes in the Polish Radio competition “Nowa Tradycja” in Warsaw in 2021, as well as at the “Mikołajki Folkowe” Festival and the Audience Award in Lublin in 2020. The group’s musical interests focus on the music of the Polish-Ukrainian borderland, particularly the traditions of the indigenous people of the Bieszczady region, the Boykos, and their neighbors.
