Wernyhora has recorded two albums so far: “Bojkowski głos Bieszczadu” and “Toloka”. The first of these was released on our own, thanks to the financial support of the listeners, in 2021. The record includes six songs from the Boyko Region. The record was very well received by music critics and won second prize in the Polish Radio Competition for the Folk Record of the Year (2022).

Our next record was released by the Polish Radio in 2022. It includes eleven songs, mainly Boyko and Lemko songs. The record includes guest appearances by Wojciech Lubertowicz and Marcin Pospieszalski. The latter also produced the record. It was released as our prize from the Second Programme of the Polish Radio that we won during the “New Tradition” Festival. Work on this release overlapped with a very unique time, namely the first months of the full-scale war in Ukraine, with the title of the record – “Toloka” – being influenced by these events (it is a form of traditional neighbourly aid); the last track on the record – “Żurba” – is also a reference to these events. Similarly to the first record, “Toloka” also won second prize in the Polish Radio Competition for Folk Record of the Year (2023).
